Kumamoto Prefecture / Completed M.A. in Decorative Design, Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School (Chinami Nakajima Laboratory)

1975: Born in Chuo-machi, Kumamoto Prefecture (now Misato Town)

2001: Completed M.A. in Decorative Design, Tokyo University of the Arts (Chinami Nakajima Laboratory)

2004: Designed town emblem adopted for the newly merged Misato Town

2007: Solo exhibition, TOBI Art Fair (Tokyo Art Club) [also in 2009, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2022]

2008: Selected for the 4th Kaii Higashiyama Memorial Nikkei Japanese Painting Award Exhibition

2011: Exhibition “Hinokuni”, commemorating Kyushu Shinkansen opening (Tokyo, Kumamoto)

2013: Began collaboration with Royal Copenhagen ceramic art panels

2016: Solo exhibition “Dynamic Painter of the Heisei Era”, Narukawa Art Museum (Hakone); “Hinokuni”earthquake recovery support exhibition, Tokyo

2017: “Honoring Kumamoto”, Kumamoto Contemporary Art Museum

2018: Menard Art Museum exhibition “From Art to Story” (Aichi)
